Print Junction is an Indigenous, family-owned and operated business located in Adelaide, South Australia. They produce a range of general print products and offer graphic design, offset, digital and wide format printing complimented by their binding and finishing services.
Since opening in 1997, the family-managed operation led by their managing director, has worked hard over the years to establish a strong reputation.
‘Then we were recognised under the Indigenous Supply Nation directory and things really began to take off.’
Word of mouth gets around
When the Indigenous Business Policy team, then at the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet (PM&C), needed publications for upcoming events, they sought quotes from several businesses.
Print Junction was one of the print businesses approached for quotes by PM&C, after they heard about the business through word of mouth.
PM&C said ‘They came back to us with the best offering even with the products being printed in Adelaide and delivered to Canberra. It’s also a family-run Indigenous business, which we are always keen on encouraging’.
Print Junction said that working with PM&C has been easy and straightforward, and PM&C says it’s been a valuable, two-way relationship.
‘They’re a very professional, very responsive operation. They went out of their way to help and they’ve been a pleasure to work with.’
Print Junction says that print jobs for PM&C and other government work has been very beneficial for the family-owned and run business.
‘It’s helped us sustain our business and grow.’
Selling to Government - more than just a print job
Print Junction says that working with departments like PM&C is a great achievement for their business.
‘We wear it as a badge of honour. Whether it’s a Christmas card or a publication, people are impressed by it.’
